Overview

GC101 TIL + sintilimab is a **combination immunotherapy** regimen comprising autologous tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (GC101 TIL)—a cellular therapy that utilizes patient-derived T cells expanded ex vivo to target tumor antigens—and **sintilimab**, a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-1 (**PD-1**) on T cells. GC101 TIL therapy aims to enhance antitumor cytotoxicity by infusing expanded tumor-reactive T lymphocytes, while sintilimab inhibits the PD-1 checkpoint pathway, restoring and amplifying T-cell antitumor activity. The combination is being investigated for advanced solid malignancies, including advanced melanoma and non-small-cell lung cancer, in clinical trials led by Shanghai Juncell Therapeutics[3]. Sintilimab is developed and manufactured by Innovent Biologics and marketed as Tyvyt in China[1][2], with approval for Hodgkin's lymphoma and under development for several other cancers[2].
