GCF2022

GCF2022 is a small molecule therapeutic candidate being developed by Guangzhou Green Cross Pharmaceutical for the treatment of Demodex blepharitis. Demodex blepharitis is a common inflammatory eye condition caused by an infestation of Demodex mites in the eyelids, leading to symptoms such as redness, itching, and eyelid margin inflammation. GCF2022 is classified as a Class 2.2 chemical drug in China, which typically refers to an improved new drug, such as a new formulation, new strength, or new route of administration for a previously approved active pharmaceutical ingredient. The program is currently in the preclinical and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) stage of development.
