Overview

GD-iExo-003 is an investigational exosome-based therapy comprising exosomes derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). It is being developed for intravenous administration, primarily targeting acute ischemic stroke. The drug leverages the regenerative and immunomodulatory properties of iPSC-derived exosomes, which are thought to promote neuroprotection and repair in the context of cerebral ischemia. Clinical development is currently at Phase 1, with ongoing trials evaluating safety and preliminary efficacy in patients with acute ischemic stroke. There are also exploratory studies considering its use in vitiligo[1][2][3][5][6].
