GD3-L-KLH

**GD3-L-KLH** is an investigational carbohydrate conjugate cancer vaccine developed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for melanoma. It consists of GD3 ganglioside lactone conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin and was administered with the saponin adjuvant QS-21 in clinical studies. The vaccine is intended to induce anti-GD3 antibodies against the tumor-associated ganglioside GD3, which is highly expressed on melanoma cells. In melanoma studies, GD3-L-KLH induced detectable anti-GD3 antibody responses, but antibody responses did not correlate with survival outcomes.
