Overview

GDA-501 is an allogeneic, genetically modified natural killer (NK) cell therapy engineered with a HER2-directed chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and expanded using Gamida Cell’s proprietary nicotinamide (NAM) technology to enhance NK cell expansion, homing, persistence, and cytotoxic function against HER2-expressing solid tumors.[3][8] Preclinical data showed potent in vitro cytotoxicity against HER2+ cancer cells and significant inhibition of tumor growth in a HER2+ solid tumor model in vivo, supporting its potential for multiple HER2-positive solid tumors.[3][7] Synapse and other trackers list the target as HER2 (ERBB2) with an antagonist effect via CAR-NK engagement, and indicate the highest global development status as discontinued at a preclinical stage.[1]
