Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GDT-201 is a preclinical cell therapy developed by Gadeta B.V., now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Clade Therapeutics. It utilizes a proprietary gamma/delta (g/d) T-cell receptor (TCR) universal targeting platform to develop engineerable, off-the-shelf, scalable stem-cell-based medicines for cancer. The drug is specifically designed to target solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, by recognizing tumor-specific antigens. GDT-201 incorporates a proprietary bi-directional co-stimulatory mechanism (MiDis) to enhance its cytotoxic activity within the suppressive tumor microenvironment. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its ability to eradicate colorectal cancer in in vivo models.
