Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GDT cell-derived exosomes are investigational, cell-free extracellular vesicles derived from Gamma Delta T (GDT) cells. Developed by JY BioMed and licensed to SL Science, these nanoscale vesicles are designed to target solid tumors, including glioblastoma and pancreatic cancer. Preclinical studies indicate that GDT cell-derived exosomes can cross the blood-brain barrier, directly trigger tumor cell death, and stimulate the host's immune system. They also demonstrate synergistic effects when combined with radiotherapy and remain active within immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments. A U.S. FDA Drug Master File (DMF No. 044612) has been filed to support future clinical development and regulatory submissions.
