Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gelanxinning Capsules (also known as Gelanxinning Soft Capsules) is a proprietary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Xi'an Qianhe Pharmaceutical. Administered orally, it is composed of three primary herbal extracts: Pueraria flavonoids (derived from kudzuvine root and containing puerarin), hawthorn fruit extract, and gypenosides. The drug is approved in China for the treatment of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris. It has also been investigated for its potential to improve coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) by inhibiting inflammation (such as downregulating NLRP3 and IL-1) and restoring endothelial function (such as upregulating SIRT1).
