Overview

GEN1056 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors in patients who have exhausted standard of care options. It was studied in a first-in-human, open-label, dose-finding Phase 1 clinical trial to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity, and preliminary antitumor activity. The drug was developed by Genmab as part of a collaboration with BioNTech. The specific molecular target and mechanism of action for GEN1056 have not been publicly disclosed. As of late 2024, development of GEN1056 (also known as BNT322) has been discontinued after failing to meet differentiation criteria in early clinical studies[1][2][3][4][5].
