Overview

GEN1286 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It targets both the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and c-Met (hepatocyte growth factor receptor), functioning as an inhibitor of these pathways. The drug is designed to deliver cytotoxic payloads directly to tumor cells expressing these receptors, thereby inhibiting tumor growth and survival. GEN1286 is administered intravenously and is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with advanced malignant solid neoplasms. The original developer was ProfoundBio; following its acquisition by Genmab, development has continued under Genmab[3][4][5][7].
