Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gencure-Fem is a specialized combination fertility supplement and ovulatory stimulant marketed by Gynogen (a division of Kabir Lifesciences). It is supplied as a combi pack containing clomifene citrate and acetylcysteine tablets, alongside astaxanthin capsules. Clomifene citrate is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that stimulates ovulation by inhibiting estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, thereby increasing the release of gonadotropins (follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone). Acetylcysteine acts as an antioxidant and glutathione precursor to improve insulin sensitivity and reduce oxidative stress, while astaxanthin provides additional potent antioxidant protection to support oocyte quality and overall reproductive health. Gencure-Fem is primarily indicated for the management of female infertility, particularly in women with ovulatory disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or unexplained infertility.
