Overview

`GenSciP153` (also known as `GenSci153`) is an investigational Actinium-225 ($^{225}\text{Ac}$)-labeled radioligand therapy (RLT) targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA). Developed by Changchun GeneScience Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Changchun High-Tech, the drug is designed for the treatment of prostate cancer, specifically metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). By binding selectively to PSMA-expressing tumor cells, GenSciP153 delivers high-energy alpha-particle radiation directly to the tumor site, inducing DNA double-strand breaks and tumor cell death while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues. The candidate is currently in IND-enabling development, with investigator-initiated trials (IIT) planned or ongoing.
