Geranium wilfordii extract (GWE) is a natural product derived from the traditional Chinese medicinal herb *Geranium wilfordii Maxim*, also known as Herba Geranii or lao-guan-cao. This ethanolic extract contains a variety of bioactive compounds, including geraniin, corilagin, gallic acid, quercetin, and 1,2,3,6-tetra-O-galloyl-β-D-glucose. GWE exhibits a broad range of pharmacological activities, including anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antiviral, and antibacterial effects.
