GeRx-081 is an oral gel formulation of cannabidiol (CBD) developed by Gelteq. It utilizes Gelteq's proprietary oral gel delivery platform, which is designed to enhance the absorption and bioavailability of lipophilic molecules like cannabinoids. In preclinical studies, GeRx-081 demonstrated a significant increase in bioavailability and higher peak exposure compared to existing FDA-approved oil-based CBD products, despite containing a lower concentration of the active ingredient.
