Overview

Getagozumab (GMA301) is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that selectively targets the endothelin receptor A (ETA), a G protein-coupled receptor central to the pathogenesis of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Developed by Gmax Biopharm, it is designed to antagonize the effects of endothelin-1, thereby reducing pulmonary arterial pressure and inhibiting vascular remodeling. Getagozumab has received Orphan Drug Designation from the US FDA and has been evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics.
