Overview

GF-4001 is a non-human (veterinary) version of the anti-aging gene therapy GF-1002, developed by Genflow Biosciences. It is designed for use in dogs and utilizes an adeno-associated viral (AAV) vector to deliver a variant of the Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) gene found in centenarians. The therapy aims to improve DNA maintenance and delay age-related diseases by providing additional copies of this longevity-associated gene. Unlike human-targeted versions, GF-4001 is specifically formulated for veterinary applications[3][4].
