Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GFC CELL EXO SCALP (marketed as GFCCELL™ EXO SCALP KIT) is an exosome-based biologic therapy designed for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. The product consists of an extracellular vesicle (exosome) preparation administered via intradermal injection into the scalp at a concentration of 2 to 10 billion particles per 5 ml. It is intended to stimulate hair follicle regeneration and improve hair density by delivering bioactive signaling molecules to the scalp microenvironment. The therapy has been evaluated in randomized clinical trials, including studies conducted at Services Hospital Lahore and Combined Military Hospital Quetta, where its efficacy and safety were compared against platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections using photographic evaluation, hair pull tests, and patient/physician satisfaction questionnaires.
