GH21

GH21 is a small molecule inhibitor targeting Src homology phosphotyrosyl phosphatase 2 (SHP2), an intracellular protein tyrosine phosphatase involved in the RAS/MAPK signaling pathway. SHP2 plays a critical role in cell proliferation and survival, and its inhibition is being explored as a therapeutic strategy for various cancers, particularly those driven by mutations in genes such as KRAS or EGFR. GH21 is under clinical investigation for use alone or in combination with other targeted therapies (such as osimertinib) for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), colorectal cancer, head and neck neoplasms, and other malignancies[5][9]. The drug was initially developed by Qinhao Pharmaceutical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., with ongoing trials sponsored by Suzhou Genhouse Bio Co., Ltd.[5][9].
