Overview

GH3595 is a small-molecule inhibitor of the DHX9 (DEAH-box helicase 9) protein, currently in preclinical development by Suzhou Genhouse Bio. DHX9 is an ATP-dependent RNA helicase that plays a critical role in maintaining genomic stability by resolving complex nucleic acid structures such as R-loops and G-quadruplexes. GH3595 is designed to exploit synthetic lethal vulnerabilities in tumors with specific genetic signatures, specifically those with high microsatellite instability (MSI-H) or homologous recombination deficiency (HRD). By inhibiting DHX9, the drug aims to induce DNA damage and selective cell death in these compromised cancer cells, offering a potential targeted therapy for various solid tumors.
