GHW036 is a potent, highly selective, and orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of the c-Met (Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor) tyrosine kinase, developed by Suzhou Genhouse Bio Co., Ltd. It is designed to target malignancies driven by MET signaling abnormalities, such as MET exon 14 skipping mutations and MET gene amplification. By blocking the phosphorylation of the MET receptor, GHW036 inhibits downstream signaling pathways, including PI3K/AKT and MAPK/ERK, which are critical for tumor cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with a focus on patients who harbor specific MET alterations or have progressed on prior targeted therapies.
