Ginfort

Ginfort is a proprietary **oral botanical ginger extract** developed by Olene Life Sciences and exclusively licensed to DolCas Biotech. It is a patented, solvent-free supercritical CO2 extract of *Zingiber officinale* oleoresin standardized to 26% gingeroids, principally gingerols and shogaols, and formulated with proprietary Aqueosome technology to improve solubility and bioavailability of these lipophilic constituents. Although not a pharmaceutical drug, Ginfort has been clinically studied as a small-molecule nutraceutical for functional dyspepsia and primary dysmenorrhea, where it has shown symptom reduction at 200 mg twice daily. Its proposed mechanism includes carminative and prokinetic effects that reduce gas and improve synchronized gastrointestinal peristalsis, along with suppression of cyclooxygenase-2 driven prostaglandin formation that may contribute to analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects in menstrual cramping and upper GI discomfort.
