Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**COG 3** is a fixed-dose combination cognitive enhancer developed and marketed by Ind Blues Pharma. It is formulated as an oral tablet containing three active ingredients: ginkgo biloba extract (60 mg), piracetam (800 mg), and vinpocetine (5 mg). This combination is primarily indicated for improving cognitive function, memory, and concentration in patients with neurodegenerative disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease. Ginkgo biloba acts as an antioxidant and improves cerebral blood flow; piracetam is a nootropic that modulates cholinergic and glutamatergic systems to enhance neuroplasticity; and vinpocetine acts as a vasodilator and phosphodiesterase inhibitor to further enhance cerebral circulation and protect neurons from hypoxia.
