Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ginkgo flavone glycoside dispersible tablets, developed and manufactured by Jiangsu Shenlong Pharmaceutical, is an approved herbal extract medication used for the treatment of cognitive disorders and cardiovascular diseases. The formulation contains a standardized extract of *Ginkgo biloba* leaves, typically composed of at least 24% ginkgo flavone glycosides and 6% terpene lactones (including ginkgolides and bilobalide). The drug functions through antioxidant activities and the modulation of vascular and platelet functions, specifically improving cerebral and peripheral blood circulation. It is indicated for conditions such as age-related cognitive decline, memory impairment, and peripheral vascular disease. The dispersible tablet form is designed to enhance the bioavailability of the extract's poorly water-soluble active compounds by allowing rapid disintegration in water or the mouth.
