Overview
Gitsol is a prebiotic and probiotic capsule formulation enriched with zinc, developed by Boffin Biotech. It is designed to promote a healthy digestive system, support overall immune health, and restore the natural balance of gastrointestinal flora. Gitsol is indicated for the management of acute and chronic diarrhea, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Clostridium difficile-induced diarrhea, diarrhea due to tube feeding, chronic diarrhea in HIV, and as an adjuvant therapy in Crohn's disease. The synergistic combination of prebiotics and probiotics helps inhibit the growth of harmful pathogenic bacteria, lower intestinal pH, and improve bowel regularity.
