Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GK01 (GK01 cell injection) is an autologous tumor-reactive T-cell (TRT) therapy, also described as an autologous tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) cell therapy, being developed by Geek Gene (including Beijing Geek Gene Technology and Suzhou Geek Gene Technology) for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors, including gastric cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. GK01 is prepared by isolating infiltrating T cells from a patient's tumor tissue and optimizing them in vitro using Geek Gene's proprietary cell fate reprogramming technology. This process rejuvenates the T cells, maintaining a high proportion of naive-like attributes to reverse functional exhaustion and enhance their tumor-recognition and cytotoxic capabilities. GK01 is administered as a single intravenous infusion following lymphodepleting preconditioning.
