Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GKIND010A is a small molecule modulator of the sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) receptor currently under development by China Resources Guokang Pharmaceutical. It is designed to treat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), specifically ulcerative colitis, by modulating S1P receptor signaling. This mechanism typically regulates immune-cell trafficking, preventing the egress of lymphocytes from lymph nodes into the circulation and subsequent infiltration into inflamed tissues. As of 2024, the program is in the IND-enabling (Pre-IND) stage.
