Gladskin eczema cream

Gladskin Eczema Cream is a topical biologic treatment developed by Micreos Human Health for the management of atopic dermatitis (eczema). Its active ingredient, Micreobalance® (sr-(Methionyl Staphylococcus Simulans Polypeptide-1 Dipeptide-53 Staphylococcus Phage 2638A Polypeptide-1)), is a proprietary endolysin derived from bacteriophage technology. Endolysins are highly specific enzymes that cleave the peptidoglycan layer of the bacterial cell wall, leading to rapid lysis of the target organism. Micreobalance® specifically targets *Staphylococcus aureus*, a pathogen known to colonize the skin of eczema patients and exacerbate inflammation, while sparing the commensal bacteria of the skin microbiome. The cream is formulated to be steroid-free, fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic, and it has been evaluated in randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials for efficacy in mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.
