GLB-002 is a highly selective, orally bioavailable small-molecule molecular glue degrader targeting the transcription factors Ikaros family zinc finger protein 1 (IKZF1) and Ikaros family zinc finger protein 3 (IKZF3). By promoting the degradation of these proteins, it exerts immunomodulatory and antineoplastic effects. The drug is being developed primarily for hematologic malignancies such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and multiple myeloma (MM), with demonstrated anti-proliferative activity in resistant cell lines. It addresses challenges associated with earlier degraders by offering improved selectivity and reduced off-target toxicity. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory NHL[1][4][6].
