GLB-003

GLB-003 refers to two distinct investigational drugs in development by different companies for unrelated indications. The first, developed by GluBio Therapeutics, is a highly selective small-molecule heterobifunctional degrader targeting WEE1 kinase for the treatment of solid tumors. It acts via targeted protein degradation (TPD), specifically as a bifunctional degrader designed to induce proteolysis of WEE1, a key regulator of the cell cycle and DNA damage response[1][4]. The second, developed by GreenLight Biosciences, is an mRNA-based vaccine candidate against COVID-19 that reached Phase 1 clinical trials in Rwanda; it functions as an immunostimulant encoding the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein[2][7][9]. Both are new molecular entities and not yet approved.
