GLCP-003-1

GLCP-003-1 is a small molecule inhibitor of G-protein beta-gamma (Gβγ) signaling subunits, currently under development by Galenicap for the treatment of life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias, including ventricular tachycardia (VT), ventricular fibrillation (VF), and Long QT Syndrome (LQTS). The drug's mechanism involves the targeted inhibition of Gβγ-mediated downstream signaling pathways that contribute to electrical instability in cardiac myocytes. By modulating these pathways, GLCP-003-1 aims to provide a novel therapeutic approach for patients at risk of sudden cardiac death who are poorly served by existing anti-arrhythmic medications. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
