Overview

Glembatumumab vedotin is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of a fully human IgG2 monoclonal antibody (CR011) targeting glycoprotein NMB (GPNMB) and linked to monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), a potent cytotoxic agent. It is designed to selectively kill cancer cells expressing GPNMB. The drug was developed by Celldex Therapeutics Inc for the treatment of various cancers, including breast cancer and melanoma.
