Overview

Glioma lysate vaccine GBM6-AD is an investigational allogeneic brain tumor-initiating cell lysate vaccine developed at the University of Minnesota. It is manufactured from the GBM6-AD glioma stem-cell line and presents an undefined repertoire of glioma-associated antigens to induce tumor-reactive cellular immunity, including cytotoxic T-cell responses against antigen-expressing glioma cells. In the Masonic Cancer Center-sponsored Phase 1 DIPG study, it was administered with topical imiquimod and radiation; imiquimod is a separate immune-response-modifying adjuvant and is not part of the vaccine product itself.
