GLK-21

GLK-21 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Glykos for the treatment of melanoma. The drug is designed to target a specific melanoma-associated antigen (Melanoma Ag) to deliver a cytotoxic payload directly to malignant cells. GLK-21 utilizes Glykos's proprietary site-specific glycan-mediated conjugation technology, which aims to improve the therapeutic index by ensuring a homogeneous drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR) and enhancing the stability of the conjugate in circulation. By targeting antigens specifically expressed on melanoma cells, GLK-21 is intended to provide a more targeted and less toxic alternative to conventional chemotherapy.
