GLPG3067 + GLPG2222 is an investigational oral combination therapy for cystic fibrosis, developed by Galapagos and AbbVie. Both are small molecule modulators of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) protein. GLPG3067 acts as a potentiator, increasing the open probability of the CFTR channel, while GLPG2222 is a type I corrector that improves folding and trafficking of F508del-mutant CFTR to the cell surface. The combination aims to restore chloride transport in patients with cystic fibrosis, particularly those with F508del mutations. Clinical studies have evaluated its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy in both healthy volunteers and adults with cystic fibrosis[1][4][5][6].
