Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GLR1075 is a recombinant human albumin formulation being developed by Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of hypoalbuminemia in patients with liver cirrhosis and ascites. As a humanized recombinant protein drug, its active ingredient, recombinant human albumin, shares the same amino acid sequence and a similar three-dimensional structure as natural human serum albumin. This allows it to perform the core physiological functions of albumin, such as correcting colloid osmotic pressure imbalances and improving pathological microenvironments, while potentially reducing the supply pressure and safety risks associated with blood-derived albumin products. GLR1075 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials.
