Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GLR2053 is an investigational, orally administered proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) designed to target and degrade the transcription factor STAT6. Developed by Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals, GLR2053 is a small-molecule heterobifunctional degrader that binds STAT6 on one end and recruits the E3 ubiquitin ligase cereblon (CRBN) on the other. This recruitment forms a STAT6–PROTAC–CRBN ternary complex, tagging STAT6 with ubiquitin for subsequent proteasomal degradation. In late October 2026, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) granted clinical trial approval (IND) for GLR2053 tablets for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
