Glucoitin X DUO

Glucoitin X DUO is a combination pharmaceutical product developed and marketed by Laboratorios Catedral in Paraguay for the treatment of degenerative joint diseases. It contains a high-dose combination of glucosamine sulfate (1,500 mg) and chondroitin sulfate sodium (1,200 mg) per sachet. Glucosamine serves as a fundamental building block for the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans in articular cartilage, while chondroitin sulfate provides structural integrity and resistance to compression. Together, these components act as symptomatic slow-acting drugs for osteoarthritis (SYSADOA), aiming to reduce joint pain, improve functional mobility, and potentially slow the progression of cartilage degradation. It is indicated for various forms of arthrosis, periarthritis, and chondromalacia.
