Overview
Glucose 10% is a hypertonic intravenous infusion solution containing 10% anhydrous glucose (dextrose) in water. Developed and manufactured by Diamed Development Group, it is indicated for the treatment of carbohydrate and fluid depletion, as well as serving as a vehicle or diluent for the administration of compatible parenteral drugs. As a hypertonic solution, it provides a source of calories and water to maintain hydration and support metabolic requirements.
