Overview

Glutathione arsenoxide (GSAO) is a small molecule anticancer agent and tumor metabolism inhibitor. It targets mitochondrial endomycin, disrupting mitochondrial function in cancer cells, which leads to inhibition of tumor growth. GSAO has been studied for its ability to induce apoptosis and affect various cellular pathways involved in cell cycle regulation, DNA damage response, and metabolic processes[1].
