Glycyltyrosine is a dipeptide composed of the amino acids glycine and L-tyrosine joined by a peptide bond. It is primarily used as an ingredient in amino acid solutions for parenteral nutrition to provide nutritional support in clinical settings[1][2]. Glycyltyrosine has also been studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties; it acts as a radical scavenger that inhibits lipid peroxidation and protects cells from oxidative damage[8].
