Overview

GM-103 is an oncolytic adenovirus that induces a robust and systemic tumor-specific immune response while simultaneously inhibiting tumor angiogenesis[1]. This dual mechanism allows it to exert potent antitumor effects against both primary and metastatic tumor lesions[1]. The drug is currently being investigated in clinical trials for multiple solid tumor types, including head and neck cancer, malignant melanoma, colorectal cancer, renal cell carcinoma, cervical cancer, and breast cancer[5]. The therapeutic is administered through intratumoral injection and is being studied both as a monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab[5]. Current clinical trials include dose escalation and dose expansion studies to determine safety, tolerability, and preliminary antitumor efficacy[5].
