Overview

GM103 + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination therapy currently being evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial for patients with locally advanced, unresectable, refractory, and/or metastatic solid tumors. GM103 is administered via intratumoral injection and is being studied both as monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab. Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells, blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The combination aims to leverage the immunomodulatory effects of both agents to improve antitumor efficacy across multiple cancer types, including head and neck cancer, malignant melanoma, colorectal cancer, renal cell carcinoma, cervical cancer, and breast cancer[3][6][8]. GM103's precise mechanism of action has not been detailed in public sources as of this writing.
