Overview

**GM1215** is an investigational Cargocyte-based cancer immunotherapy developed from technology originating at the University of California San Diego and advanced by Cytonus Therapeutics. The product consists of engineered, enucleated mesenchymal stromal cell-derived Cargocytes designed to concurrently produce the immune-stimulatory cytokines interleukin-12, interleukin-15, and granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor. By localizing cytokine production at diseased tissue, GM1215 is intended to generate a coordinated antitumor immune response while avoiding the persistence and engraftment risks associated with nucleated cell therapies. It is being developed in preclinical-stage programs for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and triple-negative breast cancer.
