Overview

GMA107 is a long-acting, triple agonist monoclonal antibody-based fusion protein developed by Gmax Biopharm International. It is designed to simultaneously target and activate three key G protein-coupled receptors involved in metabolic regulation: the Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R), the Gastric inhibitory polypeptide receptor (GIPR), and the Glucagon receptor (GCGR). By integrating these three pathways into a single therapeutic molecule, GMA107 aims to provide synergistic effects on weight loss, glycemic control, and the reduction of hepatic steatosis. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of obesity and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). GMA107 utilizes Gmax's proprietary MAb-VHH platform to achieve a long half-life and potent multi-receptor activation, and it is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials.
