GMA202 is a bispecific antibody-based immunotherapy developed as an "M-Body" that combines an anti-endothelin receptor type A (ETa) monoclonal antibody with an anti-CD3 antibody fragment. This design enables GMA202 to simultaneously target ETa, which is overexpressed in certain cancer cells, and CD3 on T cells. By pair-matching activated T cells with ETa-overexpressing tumor cells, particularly in ovarian cancer, GMA202 aims to direct the immune response precisely against malignant tissue. The drug is being developed as a targeted therapy for patients with high ETa expression tumors and has orphan drug status for ovarian cancer. It is currently at the IND-enabling or IND application stage for several solid tumor indications[1][2][7].
