Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GMA205 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Gmax Biopharm International that specifically targets the Endothelin B receptor (ETBR), a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR). ETBR is frequently overexpressed in melanoma and is known to promote tumor cell proliferation, survival, and angiogenesis, while also contributing to an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. By binding to and inhibiting ETBR, GMA205 is designed to disrupt these oncogenic signaling pathways and potentially enhance the anti-tumor immune response. The drug is part of Gmax Biopharm's specialized pipeline of GPCR-targeting antibodies and is currently in early-stage clinical development for the treatment of advanced melanoma.
