Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GN8P is a N-acetyl-D-glucosamine-coated polyamidoamine dendrimer that acts as a ligand for the activating receptors NKR-P1A and NKR-P1C on natural killer (NK) cells. It has demonstrated antitumor activity in rodent models by enhancing NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity, promoting antigen-specific antibody responses, increasing interferon-gamma production in NK cells, and increasing the number and activation of plasma cells and antigen-presenting B lymphocytes. Its principal studied indication is as an immunomodulatory anticancer agent in preclinical melanoma and colorectal cancer models[1][2].
