Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GNR-084 is a bispecific T-cell engager antibody that targets both the CD19 antigen on B cells and the CD3 antigen on T cells. By binding simultaneously to these two antigens, GNR-084 brings cytotoxic T lymphocytes into close proximity with malignant B cells, facilitating targeted cell-mediated cytotoxicity against cancerous B cells. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of refractory or relapsed B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). It is in Phase 1/2 clinical trials and utilizes an IgG-like bispecific format (BiMS). The originator and main developer is Generium Pharmaceuticals[2][3][4][5][6][8].
