Overview

GNU-201 is a preclinical, orally administered glycopeptide-based immunotherapy, developed on Gnubiotics’ GLAAD (glycopeptides with adjuvant and tumor‑associated antigen delivery) platform to treat solid tumors characterized by altered O-glycan profiles.[2][3][4] As a modular glycopeptide bearing a range of tumor-mimicking glycans covalently linked to peptide backbones, it is designed to provide both antigenicity and intrinsic adjuvanticity, directly modulating immune cells and the microbiome to drive robust CD8+ and CD4+ T‑cell responses and reduce immunosuppressive myeloid populations.[2][4] In colorectal cancer mouse models, oral supplementation with GNU-201 alone or combined with anti‑PD‑1 antibodies significantly reduced tumor growth and enhanced tumor-infiltrating effector and memory T cells, supporting its development as a first‑in‑class immunomodulatory and microbiome-modulating therapy for immune checkpoint inhibitor–resistant or non‑responding solid tumors.[2][3][4][5]
