Overview

GNUV202 is an investigational biologic therapy being developed by Genuv for the treatment of solid tumors. It specifically targets C-C chemokine receptor type 8 (CCR8), a chemokine receptor that is highly and selectively expressed on tumor-infiltrating regulatory T cells (Tregs). By targeting CCR8, GNUV202 is designed to selectively deplete these immunosuppressive cells within the tumor microenvironment, thereby potentially restoring and enhancing the immune system's ability to attack cancer cells. This mechanism aims to provide a more targeted approach to immunotherapy by reducing immune evasion without the broad systemic toxicity often associated with other checkpoint inhibitors.
